What is a specimen container?
A collection container is a container, such as a cup or vial, used to hold biological samples collected for laboratory testing. The collection container can be used to hold blood, oral fluid, urine, hair or other samples. Depending on the type of container, the collection container may also be called a specimen bottle or specimen container.
