Function of Nifuratel

Nifuratel is a gynecological antibacterial drug, mainly used for the treatment of bacterial vaginitis, trichomonal vaginitis, candidal vaginitis and vulvitis, in addition to urinary system infections and digestive amebiasis and Giardiasis and so on.

Nifuratel can be quickly absorbed after oral administration. The peak blood concentration can be reached within 2 hours, and there are reports of high concentration in saliva and vaginal secretions. The half-life is 2.75 hours. Nifuratel is also rapidly metabolized, and most of the oral nifuratel is excreted through the kidneys.
