This product is a disposable virus sampling tube, which is used for sampling, transportation and storage of respiratory tract specimens containing 2019-nCoV, influenza virus (common influenza, highly pathogenic avian influenza, H1N1 virus), SARS, etc. The product is suitable for CDC , hospitals and clinics to sample and transport infectious pathogen specimens for the following nucleic acids extraction and detection. The product contains virus lysate and nucleic acid preservation solution, which can quickly inactivate the virus and prevent the secondary infection of the virus to the medical staff during the process of sampling transportation, and detection. In addition, the virus nucleic acid preservation solution can protect the virus nucleic acid from degradation and ensure the accuracy of virus nucleic acid detection.

Storage Conditions and Validity Period:Storage Conditions: 4-30℃, dry conditions.Validity period is 24 months.

Specimen requirements:Nasopharyngeal swabs, oropharyngeal swabs, alveolar lavage fluid, or other secretion specimens.

Procedure

1 Swab specimens

(1) Keep the sampling tube upright, then carefully unscrew the lid of the sampling tube to avoid the liquid spills.

(2) Insert the front end of the swab with specimens into the sampling tube, break the swab and keep it in the sampling tube, screw the lid tightly and mix upside down three times.

2 Return Packaging

Wrap the used testing kit with an absorbent sheet, first load the pouch, then load the pouch into the protective bag, put the bag into the rigid re-usable outbox, seal the tamper evident security seal, complete the return packaging and mail it with DHL.

Note: Transportation of clinical specimens must comply with local regulations for the transport of etiologic agents. Samples should be sent for inspection as soon as possibleafter collection. If the test cannot be done immediately, the sample can be placed at 15-25 ℃ for no more than 8hours, or at 2-8℃ for no more than 24 hours. Long-term storage should be stored at -70 ℃ or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Precautions

1 If the reagent in the product accidentally splashed on the skin and mucous membrane, immediately rinse it with lots of water.

2 This product is only used for specimen sampling,transportation and storage of specimens before in vitro molecular diagnosis, please read this Instruction carefully before experiment.

3 Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. The reagent should be clear, without turbidity and precipitation.

4 The product is disposable and cannot be reused. After the reagent is used, the waste is treated as medical waste.
